This seal features the Sutter Creek Knights Foundry water wheel, which is on the historical landmark plaque outside the foundry. Our State flower (and our Parlors namesake) is prominent in the center of the seal with a N. D. G. W. baller and Parlor establishment year at the bottom. The 31 stars around the seal border represent our home, California, as it was the 31st state entered into the Union.
