In 1961 the name of the Parlor was changed from East Los Angeles Parlor to Poppy Trial Parlor since the Parlor no longer met in East Los Angeles. The name Poppy Trail was suggested by the late member, Vida Wells. She also designed the present seal to conform with the change. Evelyn White, the charter past president, gave permission for the use of the copy-righted name, as she was writing a book with the same title.
An embossed poppy is featured in the center of the seal.
